The shape of the convex ceilings and the presence of only hard materials causing a disturbing reverberation, an acoustical intervention was required. Moreover, other conditions such as fire safety, moisture resistance and cleanability applied and the material needed to be bent to comply with the vaulted ceiling.

The solution: an acoustical panel made of sintered aluminium CALME: a bendable panel that absorbs the sound, with only an air cavity behind the sheet, so without additional mineral wool. The honest character of the porous aluminium perfectly fits the rough brick interior. The reverberaton is gone and the sedate illuminated rooms make for an ideal party location.
